Synopis:
The Time Enforcer series follows the many time travel adventures that agent Michael Zhou goes on. From exotic places such as Nazi Germany, ancient China, Rome, and to the near and far future, he is there to prevent history from being altered.
Because the success of the mission lies solely on the actions of the Time Enforcer Agent, a Time Enforcer must be calm, never hesitant , and detached from all emotions. Lt. Michael Zhou is the best Agent the HRPD has to offer, but he has a weakness that can destroy him and his colleagues. He cares. ….

Evolution of the Time Enforcer Issue 01 Cover:
You may be asking "But how does the artist know what he wants to draw?"
The answer: a bit of inspiration, and a little help from a model. Take a look at the following.
From Model to Art:
In order to create the cover you see before you, the artist used a model (XingKai Wu) to get the exact angle and proportion of the character. The facial expression from the model also helps the artist grasp the intensity of the scene.

Is this the only way to create dramatic characters in comics?
The Answer is obviously NO!
Another way to create characters along with costume design is by creating Concept Art.
